Dubh Prais Restaurant

Excellent dining, adequate wine list, good service and imaginative and competent cooking in the kitchen. Overall a superior Edinburgh restaurant that will not break the bank.
The only negative is something they can do little about - the dining space. It is a smallish cellar bar that has been converted and is not that comfortable but I for one could live with that to eat this well at these prices.
Not a place for vegetarians perhaps however.

What a fantastic place to eat. The food is superb. My partner and I were on a weekend away and booked before we arrived and am I glad we did. Everything was just perfect, food, staff, atmosphere I only wished I lived in Edinburgh and could go there often. We also ate at the Witchery which is not a patch on this restaurant. If you go to Edinburgh you must try this restaruant. You will not be diappointed. Well done James

A really fabulous restaurant; lovely traditional dining room; perfectly cooked food; good wine list; friendly and attentive staff - coped well with a large crowd. Will most definitely be going back to show it off to friends visiting Edinburgh.
