Stac Polly Restaurant

My wife and I went to Stac Polly on Sunday the 2nd of May. We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to an excellent table. The waiter was very attentive and kept our wine glasses topped up throughout the meal. I had the seafood chowder and then the steak, my wife had the salmon to start and then the lamb. The chowder was the best I have ever had, filled with lots of fish. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce was beautiful. The salmon portion was delicious and large for a starter and my wife could not fault the lamb. The ambience and setting of the restaurant are extremely pleasing and relaxing. We had an excellent evening out at this restaurant and would definitely visit again!

I should like to comment on the magnificent evening that we spent at Stac Polly Grindlay Street on Wednesday 22 September to celebrate our Golden Jubilee.

Everything was perfect – the food, the wine, the setting and the superb service. We had a wonderful time. It was certainly a fitting way to finish our 3 day celebration marking the Golden Jubilee of our commencing nurse training at the Western General Hospital.

David could not have done more to ensure that our evening was special. He was most helpful whenever I went to discuss arrangements with him in advance of the event and everyone commented to me afterwards about the excellent food, service and ........... everything really. A great success.

We shall certainly be recommending Stac Polly to all of our friends - and I will definitely be revisiting too.
