Four of us ate hear on Sat. eve 26th May. The food was quite good but the problem was the waiting staff(not the male but the female). She wasn't too helpful and we felt as if we were putting her out!My spare rib starter was burnt to a crisp and the stilton topping on top of the sirloin was congealed and tateless. The other items were all fine. The main problem was that our main meal plates were not taken away as the waiting staff had seemed to vanish! We sat staring at them for about 30 mins. before eventually lifting them ourselves and putting them on another table. No sign of sweets or other drinks. We had to do without. A dessert would have been nice. Its sad really as the chefs try hard and are pretty good but are let down by their front of house staff.

On arrival we were shown to a table by a window near the door on a cold night, we were by a radiator, and after we'd turned this on began to heat up. We were the only table in the section being used so found that the waiters forgot about us, and we had to go and find one when we needed things.
The main courses were great, and we can't fault those. However, the sweets were sub standard and overpriced. They had obviously been bought in and were not as described on the menu. The coffee we can't comment on as we gave up because we couldn't find anyone to order from.
Overall good for a main course but forget the sweets.
