New York Steam Packet

I came across this restaurant about 10 years ago when I worked for Standard Life and I had many nights out there with the SLAC mixed hockey team.

I had not been for a few years but started going back a few years ago when I realised this cracking little restaurant was still open with new owners. i have been with my husband, groups of friends and for family birthdays and I have never had one bad meal, the food is always fantastic. I think I have pretty much tried everything on the menu but cannot rave enough about the mussels, steak and dime cake!!

Infact I am going tonight with my new work & can't wait. The added bonus is you can bring your own beer or wine so you know that you are not going to get hit with a huge bill at the end.

They are now open at lunchtime now which is good news for us all!!

Great venue for a small event. My band played an acoustic gig there and had dinner with some friends. Service was very friendly and our guests enjoyed the evening. If you like a singalong the hosts can put on karaoke. Food was good too. I had a cracking steak and the dime bar cake was fab. BYOB too so it is great value. Very good price too. Recommended!
