My husband and myself have been here twice and the food has been wonderful on both occasions. The staff except one waiter(there is always one)were really friendly. We both always have three courses and all dishes were super. The only thing that I dislike is the decor and atmosphere at the eating place at the back. It reminds me of a school canteen! I would only eat at the bar or not at all.

Went with friends to Smoke Stack one Saturday night under recommendation from a colleague. Was very dissappointed with the food and the service. We were not expecting the Ritz but surely the staff can make some sort of effort. We all ordered steak. That is exactly what you got on your plate. A piece of overdone meat and a few reheated chips. There is no atmosphere in this establishment. Will not be going back.
