The Apartment

We dined here on Saturday evening..... possibly one of the most disappointing experience ever!!! The manager was by far the rudest head waitress I have ever encountered.....have to ask for plates.... and when we complained had a series of rudness hurled at us...claiming we should appreciate the quality environment we were in. They then proceeded to provide us with the wrong bill..... Edinburgh has too many nice restaurnats to have to be subjected to this lower than low service. The maitre'd needs to lose the ego and learn some basic skills in customer service. Shame....as the food was nice...when it finally arrived

Warm and friendly and welcoming, I have eaten here a number of times with different groups of friends and on dates. The food is delicious, with interesting yet clean flavours and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Pretentious and false. Describing all dishes as main course size and ideal for a couple to share as a starter is nonsense. Expensive, dark and unwelcoming.

Staff, in the main, OK but are not interested in the quality of the food

This is a relaxing and different way to dine, I loved the healthy-chunky-lines, and the butternutsquash side is scrummy! I have been a few times and the staff are always friendly and polite, its always busy do i am clearly not the only one to like this place!
