I went to Voujon, after a number of my collegues recommendation. I have to say this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Edinburgh. The food was spot on and and the service was more then excellent. I will definatly be returning shortly.

Bad service...we came y'day to have dinner. We were treated badly by the waiter...he irritated us from the time we entered. Felt as if he just ignored us and then when the time came for order he, rather than being polite and explaining us, started arguing and dictating that we can not order this time or that time even though it was available.

How could one dictate other what he / she should choose when the stuff was available?

Damn...we just walked out...very poor way of dealing with customer especially visitor to this beautiful country called Scotland.

we chose this restaurant because it looked clean and elegant, but the food was awful.we had sum poppdums to start with and didnt get a chance to finsh as they took the plates away. to follow we had assorted meat which was tastless and the fried bhaji's and pokara were really greasy, my wife had aloo tikki,,, more like floating aloo, potato's were floating in grease oil. for mains she orderd matter panner, when it came it was only pea curry, sent it back, it returned with sum panner (minced) but no flavor what so ever. i had a chicken madras... which again was bland and no taste. i strongly dont recomend this restaurant to anyone. over all nice decor but 0/10 on food.

A fantastic Restaurant on the south outskirts of Beautiful Edinburgh.

Wonderful food every time we have been in and the staff are just great.

Been to many Indian restaurants in the capital and this is easily the best by a long way. There would be que's out the door if it was in the city centre and it is always full when we pop in so it is best to book.
