Whighams was a nice cosy retreat from the bitter cold. Their set menu contained the best of the things from their standard menu. The food came out quick, maybe a little too quick giving the distict impression it wasn't cooked especially for you. The crayfish may have been fresh frozen? The soup however was delishious as was the fish pie and lamb casserole. Disapointed with dessert though. Banoffee pie was more like caramel slice with banana on the side. Reasonable price was it's redemption.
