I had booked a nearby vegetarian restaurant, but as we walked past this one, one member of the party preferred this menu (vegetarian too).

There were 4 of us eating and 3 of us just wanted a quick main meal as we were heading off to the Tattoo, the 4th just wanted a couple of starter dishes to come at the same time as our main meal. This was not allowed! We could order a starter and a side dish, but not a couple of starters. This can not be down to price as some of the side dishes were cheaper than the starters. We tried to clarify that this really was the case, but we definitely were not allowed 2 x starters in place of a main dish!

My water came out in a glass that had big chips out of the rim of the glass, and when I pointed this out it was taken away. The waiter dealt with this very well and replaced my drink and wanted to give us a free drink, which was a decent thing to do.

Whilst waiting on our food, the table next to us were trying to do the same thing and order a few starters in place of a main meal and they got the same script that we received (different waiter). They were quite dumbfounded and decided to leave the restaurant.

When the food came out it was just ok, and I pray that new veggie places I try are going to be good, but it wasn't up to much. The portions were quite small (side dish size I would say) and I like my food hot - it was spicy hot, but cold in temperature - not a very good experience at all.
