Ecco Vino

Ecco Vino is the kind of place you wish there were more of in Edinburgh. The decor is warm, intimate and comfortable; its extensive wine list displayed on long shelves on the back wall. It does good food that is simple yet tasty and reasonable value for money. The salads are always changing and always interesting and successful- last time was a mackerel and chickpea, which worked very well. They do tapas, ciabattas and soups as well, never over-stretching themselves and keeping it simple with good igredients; no pretentions. Staff are easy going and take care of you, and as mentioned before, the wine list is excellent.

Why cant more cafes be like this?
