Wedgwood The Restaurant

We came here based predominantly on Tripadvisor reviews. I have to say it was really very good, though I don't think it's the destination restaurant some are making out. The service was very friendly, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel wanted. The food was great, but I'd put it at a decent local level, rather than likely to win any stars any time soon. Still, it's the kind of place you know you could keep coming back to and know you'd get a friendly welcome and decent food, at a reasonable cost.

I love this place. It is right in the middle of the High Street and is in no way a tourist trap. The service and food are excellent and very good value. I booked for a Monday night and was glad I had.

Our first time here and we highly recommend a visit . We will certainly be taking freinds & family when they come to town.

recommend you book in advance as they were turning people away/giving them a time to return.
