Tigerlily

My friends and I (7 very lively young ladies) had dinner at Tigerlily's on Saturday 30th March 2008. Although the food was without fault and the decor was great, the NOISE was absolutely appalling!! We sat in one of the booths, which on arrival we thought looked great, but it didnt take long to be overwhelmed by the NOISE. The tables seem to be dominated by the bar and all the people hanging around there drinking. It was very off-putting and I have to say ruined an otherwise lovely evening. The only other problem we encountered was that unfortunately we arrived 20mins late for our table, (our fault we know) after waiting another 20mins for the waiter to take our orders, (not our fault, we had all decided what to have within 5 mins) we were then informed that they could only serve us 2 courses as they needed our table back at 9pm, we actually only ended up having a main course as we were put off by the NOISE anyway!! (and still no-one seemed to be sitting at the table by 9.30pm). Another point worth mentioning is the nightclub LULU which is under Tigerlily. For a nightclub full of trendy people we have to say the DJ's played the worst music ever! Have a word with the DJ's and sort out the acoustics in your restaurant!
