Monteiths

I had heard a lot of great things about this new place on the Mile, so myself and a few friends decided to check it out for ourselves. Gladly, our experience lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked through the twinkly archway we knew this was going to be a fun night. As the evening was bright and reasonably warm, we took a table outside in the "secret" garden and supped a few of the cocktails from the broad list on offer.

Food was delicious and the vibe was energetic intimate, depending on what you're after.

I can't reccommend Monteiths highly enough. We'll absolutely be back in the winter months to have round two, but this time around the fire.

We stumbled on the restuarant looking for a place for lunch. The decor was hip, the food was excellent. We had a lamb burger and a duck and plum salad. Wine selection was reasonable, service very good. The restuarnt was very quiet when we were there, not the noisy place others have described. I recommend it to anyone who has adventurous taste.
