Mezbaan - South Indian

This place is just great. If you've never had South Indian food before, you must go here - their masala dosa and idli are amazing! The thalis are a great choice at lunchtime because you get a variety of smaller dishes rather than one big dish, so you get more flavours and feel less full.

Their vegetarian selection is a big hit with us - especially the paneer makhani and lentil dishes. There is so much choice and you can tell they use whole spices rather than dried because everything tastes fresh and flavoursome.

It can be quiet so if you're looking for buzzing atmosphere, this might not be the place - but for good food, this is one of the best in Tollcross.
