An excellent choice of venue for our early Hogmanay dinner and easy parking for another visit in the very near future. Oysters to start with complimented with terrific shallot vinaigrette. The first time that I have ever felt the need to mop up the remnants from a plate of oysters! The fillet steak au poivre that followed was one of the best I have ever tasted, perfectly cooked with mouth watering Béarnaise sauce and the handmade fries chips left nothing to the imagination. Ripe Brie de Meaux, oatcakes and onion chutney to follow and then desert. At this point I would have normally said ‘No more’ but when presented with the dark chocolate square Ganache, passion crème anglaise & fruits I managed to rally round and make a complete pig of myself. The House wine was a good choice and complimented everything exceptionally well. It will be a very short time until I sample some of the other dishes. Good company excellent service - try it out you will not regret it!
